Bury St Edmunds man arrested for fraud, burglary and shoplifting offences

Police have arrested and charged a man from Bury St Edmunds man in connection with 11 offences.

Officers arrested a man on suspicion of and he was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

45 year old David Parker of Lancaster Avenue in Bury St Edmunds was charged with eight counts of fraud by using a bank card on 14 June to buy goods totalling £150.

He was also charged with burglary of a premises on 14 June at Maynewater Square where a purse containing bank cards was taken

He was also charged with theft from Boots in Bury St Edmunds where on 11 June toiletries and perfume were stolen to the approximate value of £750 were stolen.

Finally, he was charged with theft where on or about 11 June at Marks and Spencer’s in Bury St Edmunds clothing to the value of £386 was stolen.

He was remanded in custody to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court today (3 July). The outcome being he was further remanded in custody until Friday 31 July to appear before Ipswich Crown Court.
