Bury St Edmunds sexual assault appeal

An email sent to parents of students at King Edwards Upper

 

Police are appealing for witnesses after a sexual assault by touching in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident took place on Wednesday 18 July between 3.30pm and 4pm in the vicinity of Out Risbygate Street.

A teenage girl was touched inappropriately over clothing by a man.

The suspect is described as a white man, aged over 50 and around 5ft 8ins tall. He was of heavy build, bald with tufts of grey hair and possibly a grey moustache. He was carrying a beige bag and may have been wearing a grey T-shirt.

Parents of children at King Edwards upper school have received an email this afternoon reminding students to remain vigilant
