Police have charged a man in connection with drug offences in Bury St Edmunds.

A man was arrested by officers in Hertfordshire yesterday (13 January) for being concerned in supplying controlled drugs. The arrest was made as part on an on-going operation set up by Suffolk Constabulary with the Met Police to tackle County Lines drug dealing that operates between London and Suffolk.

27-year-old Zac Patterson of Iverson Road in London was charged with being concerned in the supplying cocaine and heroin from 1 December 2019 to 30 March 2020.

He is due to appear before Hatfield Magistrates’ Court today (14 January).
