A man has died following a single vehicle collision near Wickhambrook.

Police and the ambulance service were called at approximately 10:25pm yesterday, Saturday 18 December, following reports that a car, a Renault Clio, travelling on the A143 had left the road and overturned in a field.

The driver, a man aged in his 30s, was sadly declared dead at the scene.

The road was closed between Wickhambrook and Depden to allow for an investigation to be carried out, and reopened shortly before 5am this morning, Sunday 19 December.
