Police appeal after Ixworth motorcycle collision

Police are appealing for information following a collision at Ixworth.

Police were called at 10.15am on Friday 31 August to attend a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle on the on the A143 Diss Road, at the roundabout adjoining the A1088.

It is believed the motorcycle was travelling towards Diss at the time of the collision.

The rider, a man aged in his 40s, suffered injuries and was taken to The West Suffolk Hospital and then transferred to Addenbrooke’s hospital.

Any witnesses to the collision or manner of riding of the motorcycle beforehand, or anyone who may have dash cam footage of a black motorcycle travelling along the A143 between Bury St Edmunds and Diss on Friday morning should contact police.
