Police in Bury St Edmunds are warning the public to be cautious following reports that members of the public have been receiving telephone calls from persons reporting to be Police Officers.

The caller advises the victim of an ongoing investigation involving money and are then asked to attend their bank to withdraw various amounts of cash. This will then be collected by a courier. Police Officers would never ask you to do this.
