Two men released after man stabbed to death in Bury St Edmunds

 
Police investigating the murder of a man following a stabbing in Bury St Edmunds have now released two males suspects from police bail, with both remaining under investigation.
 
Officers were called around 3:55am on Sunday 20 June to reports of an incident on Winsford Road in the town. Police located a man who had sustained a serious stab wound. He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by ambulance but sadly died as a result of his injury.
 
The deceased has been identified as Neil Charles, aged 47, of Bury St Edmunds. A Home Office post-mortem examination concluded that Mr Charles died as a result of a single stab wound to the chest.

Two males, one in his 50s, and a teenage male, were arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm on Sunday 20 June. Having been given bail dates to answer in July and September, they are now released under investigation pending further enquiries.
