A woman in her 80’s has been left shaken and her mobility scooter damaged after a break-in at the weekend.

The incident happened at around 10:45 pm on Saturday evening at a home in Peckham Street in Bury St Edmunds.
The woman noticed that her garage doors were opened and when she entered she found an unknown man inside. She spoke to him and he left on a bike.

The following morning the 84-year-old resident contacted Police after she noticed her red mobility scooter had been damaged, with wires pulled out.
