Police issue reminder after theft from unlocked car in Bury St Edmunds

Police in Bury St Edmunds are reminding residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after items were stolen from a car in Western Way.

The theft happened sometime between 7pm and midnight on Saturday, May 9.

Officers said the vehicle had been left unlocked when it was targeted. Bags containing clothing, food and drink, nappies and toys were stolen from inside.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
