Filming for the ‘The Personal History of David Copperfield’ is underway from today.
Filming is taking place on Angel Hill, Athenaeum Lane and Chequers Square. And will also take to inside the Theatre Royal on Wednesday and Thursday.
The Angel hill area has been dressed to look like the 1840âs complete with, horse, carts and carriages. Parking restrictions are in place and the road is shut along Angel Hill â from Northgate Street â and Crown Street â from Churchgate to Honey Hill â between 9.30am and 7pm , and this will be managed by a traffic management company
There will be some disabled parking available for users.
The former Doctor Who, Peter Capaldi, is appearing in the film along side Dev Patel, Tilda Swinton and Hugh Laurie
