General Election 2024 local results – Peter Prinsley elected for Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket and Nick Timothy for West Suffolk

The final results for the elections held on Thursday 4 July 2024 have been declared.

Peter Prinsley was elected as the Member of Parliament for Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket constituency. Nick Timothy was elected as the Member of Parliament for West Suffolk constituency.

Residents voted on Thursday 4 July 2024, in the nationwide UK Parliamentary general election. The turnout for Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket constituency was 65.14% and the turnout for the West Suffolk constituency was 60.06%.

A by-election was also held for Newmarket Town Council (Scaltback Ward). Fiona Unwin was elected as the councillor for Newmarket Town Council (Scaltback Ward). The turnout was 53.85%.
