James was born in Bury St. Edmunds, and is proud to live in the town again now. You may seem him running (usually begrudgingly) around the best parts of West Suffolk.

James has a love for musical theatre and showtunes, and it was listening to Theatreland on RWSfm that inspired James to get involved with local radio.

James joined the station in 2025, presenting a Monday evening show – where you’ll hear new music, lots of listener interactivity and a dinner-time disco too!
