Marz Harley and Izzy Shaw Joined us in the studio for a live Session.

 

Marz and Izzy have been collaborating for two years bringing together Marz’s unique guitar and songwriting style and the velvet tones of Izzy Shaw’s vocals. The duo are the core of the Marz Harley Band and are joined by a stable of musicians as and when. They have recently been working with gifted percussionist and all-round musician Ricky Ware, specifically at their regular performances in Bury St. Edmunds. The band are currently in the process of finishing their first full album of original music and have recently returned from shooting videos for some of the singles in Santorini, Greece. With a strong latin presence in their songs which range anywhere from jazz to folk, some of their influences are Paco De Lucia, John Martyn, Nick Drake and Terry Callier to name but a few. The end result is hard to pigeon-hole but instantly recognizable as The Marz Harley Band.
