Driver stopped by Police for video calling his wife on A11

A driver spotted holding his phone up to the windscreen of his vehicle for a video call has been stopped by Police at Eveden.

Officers from the roads and armed policing team spotted the vehicle travelling on the A11 yesterday afternoon, Wednesday 17th March.

On stopping him the driver admitted that he had been on a video call to his wife as he wanted to show her the war memorial.

Officers issued the driver a Traffic Offence Report.
