Police are appealing for information after a peahen was shot and killed with an air weapon in Gazeley.
The incident happened at around 2.30am on Tuesday, March 3, on Higham Road.
Officers say three men entered private land before shining powerful torches into trees and discharging an air weapon. The bird was killed during the incident.
The suspects were believed to have been travelling in a dark-coloured car.
Police have released an image of three males they would like to speak to in connection with the incident as part of their enquiries.
