A man has been arrested in Bury St Edmunds following reports of a male being seen in a state of undress in woodland.

Officers from Bury St Edmunds arrested the man on Monday on suspicion of offences relating to outraging public decency.

The arrest followed reports from members of the public about the incidents, which were reported to have taken place over the weekend.

Police thanked those who came forward and said information provided by the public plays an important role in helping to keep communities safe.

Anyone who witnesses suspicious activity or behaviour that causes concern is asked to report it to police.
