The death of a man whose body was found in Bury St Edmunds last week is not being treated as suspicious.
Police were called just after 11am on Friday 28 April, after a member of the public found the deceased near to the Ram Meadow car park in the town.
A Home Office post-mortem examination took place earlier today (Sunday 30 April) and although further tests are required, the death is not being treated as suspicious. The police cordon near the car park has now been lifted.
Police enquiries into the death are continuing and a file will be prepared for the coroner in due course.
