A man from Bury St Edmunds has been arrested and charged following a string of thefts.

24-year-old Sean Smith, of no fixed abode but from the Bury St Edmunds area was arrested in Ipswich on the 17th October on suspicion of theft from a shop.

He was subsequently charged with 10 counts of theft from a shop and one drug offence and has been remanded in police custody.
