Police have charged a man in connection with drug offences in Bury St Edmunds.
Officers from the west Kestrel team had reason to detain three occupants who were inside a vehicle at Tesco on Fornham Road in Bury St Edmunds on Wednesday 31 May.
A search of the vehicle established small amounts of suspected drugs in the vehicle with all three occupants, a 53-year-old man, a 28-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A. All three were taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning.
The 43-year-old man was also found in possession of a large quantity of suspected heroin and crack cocaine and over £450 in cash.
Further searches were conducted at his home address with a further golf-ball-sized wrap of suspected class A drugs and crack cocaine located along with over 150g of cannabis.
43-year-old Daniel Anderson of Mayfield Road, Bury St. Edmunds was charged with three counts of possession with intent to supply drugs namely, cannabis, heroin and cocaine.
He was remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on 3 June and was remanded for a further hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on 30 June.
The 53-year-old man was released on bail to answer on 3 August, while the 28-year-old woman was released on bail to answer on 7th August pending further enquiries.
