Man left with blood on his face following assault in Bury St Edmunds

Police are appealing for witnesses or information after a man was assaulted in Bury St Edmunds last week.

The incident took place on Friday 29 September at around 1:30pm. A man was seen walking up St John’s Street in the town centre with blood on his face and it is believed that he had been involved in an altercation with a group of youths on St Johns Street by the Fried Chicken shop. The suspects left the area by Church Row between Vinyl Hunter and the Tattoo Shop
