Visitors to Bury St Edmunds town centre are advised that part of St Andrews Flexi-Stay car park will be briefly closed for works next Tuesday 22 August.

Weather permitting, West Suffolk Council’s contractors will be finishing off relining and road marking work, the bulk of which was carried out last month.

As the work will involve paint spraying, the council is taking extra precaution and will be stopping drivers from parking in the affected area which represents about 160 spaces.

This does not affect the St Andrews Long Stay car park, nor the flexi-stay area immediately outside the Wilko shop.
