Police appeal after a man was bitten by a dog in Bury St Edmunds.

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was bitten by a dog in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident occurred at approximately 10:10am on Saturday 3 August near Parkington Walk and Boby Road.

The victim was out walking when he was approached by a woman walking her dog, which bit him on the arm causing it to bleed.

The dog is described as a black Greyhound, with a grey or white spot on the muzzle.

The owner of the dog was a woman who is described as white, aged in her 40s, approximately 6ft tall, and with curly red hair.
