Police arrest two people in London in connection with County Lines drug dealing to Bury St Edmunds

Police have arrested and charged two people in connection with drug offences with links to Bury St Edmunds.

A warrant was conducted in the Redbridge area by officers from the Met police, on behalf of Suffolk under Operation Orochi on Thursday 25 January where two people were arrested and bought back to Martlesham Heath Police Investigation Centre for questioning.

23 year old Vinjola Geca of Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green was charged with being concerned in the supplying of a quantity of cocaine between 3 July 20222 and 24 January 2024.

22 year old Jurgen Kapica of Snakes Lane East, Woodford Green was charged with being concerned in the supplying of  a quantity of cocaine between 3 July 20222 and 24 January 2024 and possession of cocaine.

Both were remanded to appear before Ipswich Magistrates Court on Saturday 27 January where they were further remanded for a further hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on 23 February 2024.

Operation Orochi is an operation set up by Suffolk Constabulary with the Metropolitan Police to tackle County Lines drug dealing that operates between London and Suffolk.
