Police have launched an investigation into a suspected arson incident that occurred in the early hours of this morning on Newmarket Road in Bury St Edmunds.

Officers on patrol discovered a small fire in a bin outside shortly before 1 a.m. The flames quickly spread to nearby shrubbery before being extinguished by the fire service.
