Police will put in place a fourth dispersal order this weekend, with the aim of tackling anti-social driving.
The A143 Fornham Bypass and Moreton Hall will be included in this weekend’s order which is in place from tonight at 7 pm until Sunday at 7pm.
The Section 34 dispersal authority aims to deter the gathering of vehicles driving dangerously or acting in an anti-social manner.
Speaking previously about the orders Inspector Gary Miller, of the Roads and Armed Policing Team, said: “Police are dealing proactively with reports of dangerous driving and anti-social vehicle use in the area.
“This authority does not prevent legitimate use of the roads or businesses in the area, however, any gatherings which commence will be required to disperse and anyone refusing to comply with the direction will be arrested.
“Officers will seize vehicles used in such circumstances on the highway under Section 59 of the Police Reform Act 2002.”
