Police are appealing to identify a group of people who may have been witnesses to a serious assault in Bury St Edmunds on Friday 30 August.

 

The incident happened at 9.56pm outside the Nightjars bar in St Andrews Street North.

 

The male victim, aged in his 20s was punched in the face with his jaw broken.

 

Anyone who knows who was responsible, saw the incident or knows who the people depicted in the images who police believe may have been witnesses should contact Bury St Edmunds police, quoting 37/49768/24.
