A sweet shop, which has been trading for nearly 20 years has announced it will close its doors for good. 

Auntie Pam’s Sweet Shop made the announcement today, 25th July 2023, on a notice at the shop and on social media. The notice said that “with a heavy heart” the shop will close due to the “challenges faced following the COVID-19 pandemic, rising costs and the current cost of living crisis”.

The shops final day of trading will be on 29th July. 

The shop first opened in The Traverse in Bury St Edmunds in 2004. 

The team at Auntie Pam’s went on to thank customers for their loyalty and support over the years.
