Rail passengers are being urged to plan ahead after Greater Anglia announced cancellations this weekend.
Passengers are advised to check journey details before they travel this Saturday (20th May), as some service cancellations will take place across the Greater Anglia network, due to industrial action short of a strike called by the ASLEF trades union.
Services, including those from Bury St Edmunds, will be affected. Services will return to normal on Sunday 21 May, but passengers are reminded that 24-hour strikes are planned on 31 May and 3 June, which will lead to most services not running on those dates.

Jamie Burles, Greater Anglia managing director, said: “While the vast majority of services will be running as normal this Saturday, unfortunately, passengers will face some cancellations across our network, due to industrial action short of a strike. We, therefore, advise customers to plan ahead and check before they travel.
“We’re sorry for any inconvenience caused by these service alterations.
“The rail industry is working hard to resolve these disputes and talks will continue with ASLEF and RMT to try and reach an agreement.”
