Some customers have been going to the gym for 20 years and have been left devastated by the news.

Amy Istead and Tom Hardy the directors of Moreton Hall Health Club have reached out to support members and staff at the gym. In a statement, they said “We’re truly sorry to hear about the closure of Sports Direct especially for Sports Direct staff, members and tenants renting rooms there. We know how important a fitness home can be, and we’re here to lend a hand during this transition. For anyone who was a member and is now on the lookout for a new training spot, we would love to welcome you to our community here at Moreton Hall Health Club.

“To help ease the shift, we’re offering the rest of the month free on all our memberships. Don’t worry about juggling two memberships – we’ve got your back, and for staff and personal trainers if you want to reach out we can try to accommodate also.
