Two arrests following drugs warrants in Stanton and Ixworth

Police have made two arrests following separate drugs warrants in West Suffolk.

On Monday 1 September, officers carried out a warrant at an address in Stanton, where suspected cannabis and drugs paraphernalia were located. A woman in her 30s was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs with intent to supply. She was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning and later released under investigation pending further enquiries. The incident reference is 37/49404/25.

Meanwhile, on Friday 5 September, officers executed a drugs warrant at a property in Ixworth. A quantity of cannabis and cash was seized. A man in his 20s was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply drugs and taken to Bury PIC. He was subsequently released on bail to appear on 7 October. The incident reference is 37/50184/25.
