Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious sexual assault was reported in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident occurred between 3am and 6am on Sunday 29 October in the vicinity of Parkway and Risbygate Street, where a woman was assaulted by a male suspect.

Detectives are appealing for any potential witnesses, including anyone who was in the vicinity of the arc, Parkway or Risbygate Street between 3am and 6am on Sunday morning.

Anyone with a property nearby that has CCTV or a doorbell camera, or any motorists who were driving in the area between the times stated above who has a dashcam fitted in their vehicle, are asked to review the footage for anything that may be of assistance.
