A man has been arrested for abducting a 15-year-old girl and his links with county lines drug dealing.
Police arrested two people at a property on Forum Court in Bury St Edmunds followings intelligence from the Met police on Tuesday, January 5th.
A 42-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of abduction, possession with intent to supply and on suspicion of false imprisonment. He was taken to Bury St Edmunds Police Investigation Centre for questioning. A 15 year old girl, was also found at the property and arrested in connection with drug dealing. Officers believe that she has been the victim of County Lines drug dealing and groomed in to dealing and transporting drugs.
The man was bailed until the 10 February pending further enquiries.
The girl was released under investigation.
