British and American servicemen and women from the Royal Navy, British Army, Royal Air Force and the United States Air Force Took part in a sunset ceremony on Angel Hill in Bury St Edmunds on Thursday 28 June, all part of the Armed Forces Day celebrations.

Music from the RAF Honington Voluntary Band accompanied the ceremony on Angel hill. The highlight was the 8 Apache attack helicopters flew over as the Union Flag is lowered.
The Sunset Ceremony, a traditional parade to signal the end of the day and the mounting of an overnight guard, will start at 6.25pm, building towards a flypast by 3 Regt AACâs Apache attack helicopters as the Union Flag is lowered.
