Bikes stolen from gardens in Bury St Edmunds

Items have been stolen from gardens in Bury St Edmunds. A man driving a white van was spotted in the area of Lancaster Avenue and Northumberland yesterday, Tuesday 17th August, morning.

He was described as wearing grey tracksuit trousers with a red, white and blue
strip on them, a grey hooded top and a high vis jacket.

He was seen taking items including a number of bikes from the area. 

A Suffolk Police Spokesperson said “Police were contacted shortly after 1.15pm yesterday, Tuesday 17 August, following reports that a male with a van was witnessed taking an unlocked children’s bike from a front garden in Lancaster Avenue, Bury St Edmunds at approximately 8.44am. Enquiries are ongoing”.
