Guildhall Street in Bury St Edmunds has been closed by Police after a man was taken ill.
An ambulance and people in protective clothing have been seen on scene after the incident happened at about 9.40am.
Speaking to RWSfm, a Police spokesperson said “Police were called by the East of England Ambulance Service at 09:40am to assist at the scene of a medical incident involving a man in his 30s.”
The East of England Ambulance Service said “Two ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, an ambulance officer vehicle and an East Anglian Air Ambulance vehicle were called to an address in Bury St Edmunds this morning (June 1) following reports of a man in cardiac arrest. One patient was transported to West Suffolk Hospital.”
