Read moreRichard grew up in London / Essex and moved to Bury St Edmunds in 1987. Married to Chris they have two children, and two grandchildren. Following retirement from a career in financial services he became a presenter on RWSfm in 2019 playing music and occasionally sitting in on the Sports Show.
A published author, Richard enjoys creative writing, watching live shows, theatre, cinema, reading (especially crime and psychological thrillers), short breaks at the North Norfolk coast, and watching most sports. After playing many different sports in the past, he currently participates in more leisurely indoor bowls.
Richard is a lifelong West Ham United supporter, has written a book about the club, and writes a weekly football blog about them too. He also enjoys visiting different racetracks to watch horse racing.
