Bury Town Football Club is a football club based in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, who currently compete in the Isthmian League North Division. Bury Town is one of the oldest football clubs in the country, having been originally founded back in 1872 by William Lake during a meeting at the Suffolk Hotel in the same year. At that time, they were known as Bury St Edmunds Football Club, which lasted until a name change to Bury United in 1908, before settling on their current club name in 1923.

Missing Person – Mathew Goodwin

Police are appealing for help to trace a man missing from the Great Finborough area. Matthew Goodwin, aged 52, was last seen at his home address in Great Finborough, around 10:30am – 11.00am on Monday 26th March 2018.  Matthew has taken his vehicle – a silver Peugeot 206 –  BW52 JWJ. Matthew is described as a white male, 6 foot tall, bald and thin build.  He was last wearing blue jeans, and a black bomber jacket and wears a baseball cap most of the time.
