Suffolk Fire and Rescue Services attended an incident at the West Suffolk Hospital yesterday, Sunday 7th June.
Emergency Services were contacted just before midday to reports of a smell of burning rubber at the hospital.
Two crews from Bury were despatched to the property on Hardwick Lane.
On arrival they found a small fire involving an air handling unit belt. The utilities were isolated and the fire was extinguished.
The incident was bought under control within half an hour.
