Graeme’s love of music and radio came from a young age, listening in and occasionally writing to the local rock show in his native North East.
Graeme has lived in West Suffolk for almost 30 years now, based in Haverhill. He loves performing with the local theatre company playing roles as diverse as an Ugly Sister, Edmund Blackadder and The Wizard Of Oz. Graeme also tries to keep fit, he particularly loves jogging and cycling the quiet lanes of the region. This helps balance his love of cooking and wine, many years ago he was a Sommelier, selecting wines for an international hotel’s wine list. Graeme is also a keen fan of comedy of a certain age and has attended events celebrating Carry On Films over the last 20 years.
Graeme’s musical taste is diverse, his rock roots have expanded to Indie, Blues, Soul and even the Devil’s music, Jazz. His show will reflect all genres, providing they have that certain groove. There will be old classics as well as tracks you may not have heard before. Graeme loves going to see live music, whether it be a local open mike night or a local jazz band (featuring his wife on trombone) to a multi band festival. His annual pilgrimage to a Hawkwind show with his brother has become the stuff of legend!
