Weekday Breakfast Show Presenter – Weekdays from 7am
RWSfm 103.3 is on the lookout for a fresh voice/voices to wake up West Suffolk! We’re looking for a enthusiastic and committed individual/individuals to present our flagship weekday breakfast show from 7am. Whether you’re up for taking on the whole week or just one or two mornings, we’re open to building a team of presenters to share the slot across the week.
You don’t need previous radio experience – just a positive attitude, a passion for music and local life, and the energy to help our listeners start their day right. Training and support will be provided.
Radio Presenter
We are looking for new presenters to join our lineup. Whether you’re a budding broadcaster or simply passionate about music, local news, and engaging with the community, we’d love to hear from you!No prior experience is necessary – just a great attitude and willingness to learn. Opportunities available for regular Saturday shows or weekday daytime or evening slots. Training and support will be provided.
Midweek Morning show assistant / producer
We are looking for a new assistant/producer for our popular Midweek Morning Show (Wednesdays from 10am). The show is a magazine style show which features guests from in and around West Suffolk.
You will work closely with the presenter helping to arrange interviews, greet and make guests comfortable in the studio and assist the with any other elements of producing this busy show.
No previous experience necessary, but making a brilliant cuppa’ is essential!
Sports editor
Are you passionate about local sport? RWSfm 103.3, West Suffolk’s local radio station, is looking for a dedicated Sports Editor to join our volunteer team.
West Suffolk is home to a vibrant sporting scene – from football and rugby to cricket and beyond – and we’re looking for someone who’s eager to keep our community up to date with all the latest action.
This flexible role requires a minimum commitment of writing two weekly reports for our local news bulletins:
A Friday preview of the weekend’s upcoming fixtures
A Sunday roundup covering results and highlights
But there’s plenty of room for the role to grow, with the chance to:
Conduct interviews with local teams, managers and coaches
Potentially host or co-host a dedicated sports programme on air
