It was a busy day on one of the main roads yesterday, Wednesday 23rd June, for traffic officers.
The officers from Suffolk Police’s roads and armed Policing team first stopped a lorry on the A14 at Woolpit which was carrying what appeared to be a mobile phone mast.
The mast was hanging off the end of the lorry by 7 metres with no safety markers on display and the driver also failed to notify the authorities of the unusual load.
The driver was reported for the offence.
