Man arrested after shop door locks super glued

Police have arrested a man after the locks of businesses in Bury St Edmunds were super glued.

A 60-year-old man was arrested earlier yesterday, Thursday 10th November, following reports of the lock of commercial premises being superglued on Abbeygate Street.

There were also report of a similar incident where a lock was glued to a commercial premise on the Cornhill reported on 6th November.

Our Bury St Edmunds, the business improvement district that supports businesses in the town said that they have identified around 8 businesses that have been affected. They have urged any businesses that have had problems with their door lock but haven’t reported this to the Police to let them know.
