A man has died in a road traffic collision on the A134 at Fornham.

The incident occurred on the northbound carriageway at 12.45pm on 9 January and involved a lorry and a pedestrian.

Emergency Services attended but the pedestrian, a man in his 50s, was sadly declared dead at the scene.

Both carriageways of the A134 were closed yesterday afternoon but reopened by early evening.

A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of drug-driving and released under investigation.
