Police remain at the scene of a fatal road traffic collision on the A143 at Stanton.

Officers were at called at 7:55pm yesterday, Tuesday 18 May, to reports of a two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a lorry on the A143 just south of Stanton.

The motorcyclist – a man in his 30s – sadly died at the scene.

The A143 remains closed in both directions between the junction with the A1088 near Ixworth and the B1111 at Stanton whilst investigations into the circumstances of the collision continue. Motorists are advised to find alternative routes.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
