A driver who had only passed his driving test last week is said to have been lucky to walk away with only minor cuts after he crashed his Mums’ car.

The single-vehicle collision happened in Risby at around 8:20 pm yesterday evening, 20th January.

Speaking on Twitter a Police spokesperson said the driver had been “very lucky to only walk away with small cuts” and urged everyone to drive to the conditions.
