New festive Our Bury St Edmunds town trail launches

If you know your Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer from your Jingle Bells then there’s a chance to win a prize in Bury St Edmunds during December as you test your knowledge with a brand new, fun, festive trail!

Perhaps you’re this year’s Christmas number one when it comes to festive music knowledge as Our Bury St Edmunds, in partnership with the LoyalFree app, presents The Quizmas Lyric Trail which will run in the town centre from December 1 until New Year’s Day.

This free interactive activity invites participants to jingle all the way along the trail, stopping at locations where they will be met with lyrics to famous festive songs, but some of the words are missing! Play along with friends and family to try and guess the missing lyrics. A group sing-along to jog your memory may help! Scan to ‘check-in’ and reveal the answers and see who got it right.

Our Bury St Edmunds Marketing & Business Support Officer Mike Kirkham, said:
“We are excited to bring this free, fun interactive festive trail to Bury St Edmunds. This a great way for family and friends to enjoy the Our Bury St Edmunds fabulous Christmas Lights and decorations and discover the many stunningly decorated shop windows as they complete the trail.”

Participants are encouraged to carol their way along the trail, scanning the QR codes at each location, those who take part in the trail will be entered into a prize draw to win one of three £50 Bury St Edmunds Gift Cards. The more QR codes scanned, the more chances of winning! Can you guess this one? “It’s the most wonderful time of the year. With the kids jingle belling and everyone telling you______”.
