Pedestrian suffered broken bones after crash in Sainsbury’s car

A pedestrian has suffered broken bones after crash in Sainsbury’s carpark.

Police are appealing for information following the collision which took place in Sainsbury’s car park on Bedingfeld Way in Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday 9 January  at around 3.30pm. A collision happened involving a woman pedestrian and a car. Although the vehicle stopped at the location, the driver failed to give their personal details or the vehicle registration.

 

The woman pedestrian sustained a broken ankle and wrist as a result of the collision.

 

Witnesses or anybody who has information are asked to contact Suffolk Police on 101, quoting reference CAD 422 of 9 January.
