Police are appealing for witnesses or information after several burglaries were reported at Lackford Lakes, Lackford near Bury St Edmunds.

The incidents occurred between Friday 2 December and Tuesday 6 December, although it is believed they have probably happened overnight of Monday 5 December into the morning of the 6 December.

The area is around a lake with various buildings belonging to sailing clubs, sea cadets and scouts. The storage premises have been broken in to and a number of items stolen including 20 yellow Motorola radios, an inflatable kayak, hand tools including screwdrivers and a drill, sets of keys, and a kayak trailer.
