A man has been arrested after reports of someone trying car doors in Bury St Edmunds.

The incident happened in the Northgate Avenue area of the town on Wednesday evening.

A man was subsequently arrested in Lake Avenue. He was found in possession of an Audi car key and a key to a van. Police are asking anyone who is missing these types of keys to get in touch with them.
