Police name man who died following a collision at Stanton

A man who died following a road traffic collision in Stanton is being named by police.

Officers were at called at 7:55pm on Tuesday 18 May, to reports of a two vehicle collision involving a motorcycle and a lorry on the A143 just south of Stanton.

The motorcyclist – a man in his 30s – sadly died at the scene.

Pending formal Coroner’s inquest proceedings, police have provisionally identified the deceased as John Valerio, aged 34 of Cockfield.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses to the collision to come forward, along with anyone driving in the area just prior to the incident who has a dashcam in their vehicle.
